Activity Quoted in GC Magazine
Government Computing
Cath Everett’s article on “Stemming the losses” (pages 20-21) in Januarys edition of Government Computing, contains several quotes from Neil O’Connor, Principal CLAS Consultant at Activity.
When reference is made to the ISO27001 standard he warns that “It is possible to implement standards and simply pay lip service to them without improving security. So my advice is to use the ‘plan, do, check, act’ model, which is about introducing a process of continual improvement, and also ensure that there’s adequate auditing, testing and training too. Although you can never get away from human fallibility entirely, you can certainly limit the impact”
