CREST Certified Consultant
On the 19th of February 2008 Activity's Senior Security Consultant Dave Hartley successfully passed the Council of Registered Ethical Security Testers (CREST) Web Application Certification Examination, which assesses candidates' capabilities in the field of web application security assessments. This examination pass qualifies Dave as a certified CREST consultant.
CREST (Council of Registered Ethical Security Testers) was created in response to the need for regulated and professional security testers to serve the global information security marketplace. CREST`s main aim is to represent the information security testing industry and offer a demonstrable level of assurance as to the competency of organisations and individuals within those approved companies.
Activity continues to provide commitment and support to this scheme through the certification of its consultants and alignment of its methodologies and processes to those of CREST to ensure the highest standards in the provision of our security testing services.
