Information Assurance Maturity Model Assessment

Service Description

Our experienced CESG CLAS security consultants provide assessments against the Cabinet Office Information Assurance Maturity Model (IAMM).  This service provides public sector bodies with an independent expert assessment of their level of maturity against the IAMM, addressing the key areas of Corporate Governance, IT Governance, Security Risk Assessment, Information Security Management and Compliance.

The deliverable from the assessment is a report detailing the level of maturity of the organisation to achieving the three goals of the IAMM:

• Embedding Information Risk Management Culture
• Implementing Best-Practice Information Assurance Measures
• Effective Compliance

To assess the information assurance maturity of an organisation, the following areas are assessed:

The report also provides a prioritised action plan to move to the maturity level that the organisation requires.
