Privacy Impact Assessments

Service Description

Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) are required by the Cabinet Office for Central Government, and are recommended by the Information Commissioners’ Office for all organisations processing personal information.

The Privacy Impact Assessment identifies the business requirements to process personal information, identifies risks to individuals, considers alternate forms of processing information that may carry less risk and sets out the privacy and data protection requirements for the organisation.

A Privacy Impact Assessment provides a foundation for correct processing and protection of personal information.

Activity’s expert security and privacy consultants can help you conduct Privacy Impact Assessments, checking compliance with key privacy laws such as the Data Protection Act.  Our Privacy Impact Assessments provide you with a roadmap to achieve compliance with relevant legislation and protect the security of personal information.

If you would like to arrange to speak with one of our security consultants or obtain a quote for Activity’s Privacy Impact Assessment e-mail info@activityim.com
