SAP is a complex environment consisting of numerous components. Due to the size and complexity, technical security of the technology behind SAP is not normally addressed. It is not surprising that 90% of all assessed SAP solutions have significant vulnerabilities.

Activity provides two separate Enterprise Solutions Assurance services for SAP:
- An Enterprise Solutions Penetration Test for SAP (ESPT) – where the Enterprise Solution applications and network environment are penetration tested for vulnerabilities. We also review the Enterprise Solution’s application server’s bespoke code and check that it is written securely.
- An Enterprise Solutions Security Assessment for SAP (ESSA) – this combines an ESPT with an in depth review of the processes and infrastructure of the SAP solution.
